Florida State starting offensive lineman Josh Ball and his ex-girlfriend have agreed to a final judgment in the woman's petition for protection against dating violence.
According to Leon County court documents posted Thursday, Ball and the woman – Lithia's Sandra Sellers – agreed that he would have no contact with her and must remain 500 feet away from her residences, church and employer. Ball is also not allowed within 100 feet of two buildings on campus: the Florida State College of Nursing Building and Diffenbaugh Building.
Ball did not admit or deny Sellers' accusations, which include multiple instances of dating violence during their relationship. The agreement can't prohibit Ball from taking or registering for classes at FSU.
The agreement also says that neither party can comment to the media.
The State Attorney's Office reviewed a Tallahassee Police Department investigation into Sellers' battery allegations but chose not to file charges last month. A separate harassment investigation remained open as of Wednesday afternoon.
Ball, a 6-foot-8, 325-pound redshirt freshman, is scheduled to make his fifth consecutive start at left tackle Saturday at No. 4 Clemson.
