TAMPA — Tampa International Airport on Monday marked the opening of five new shops at three airsides, bringing the number of its new concessions up to 46 — half of them local stores — on the way to a total of 69.
The new storefronts are Stellar Bay News + Market, which will sell sandwiches, snacks and salads, InMotion Entertainment, a portable electronics store, and Ron Jon Surf Shop on Airside A; Tech on the Go on Airside C; and Tampa Duty Free on Airside E.
"This has been a remarkable year of exciting new flavors and experiences for Tampa International Airport’s passengers," TIA vice president of airport concessions Laurie Noyes said, "and these five new concepts are no exception."
The expansion of the airport’s concessions is part of a $2 billion program that, by 2026, is expected to add improvements and amenities to the terminal and bring new hotels, offices, stores and restaurants to land near the airport.
