Floribama Shore SNL

"Reality" show Floribama Shore recently premiered on MTV, putting Florida stereotypes and faux Southern charm front and center in an attempt to recreate its Jersey Shore days.

Be sure to read our full review from Chelsea Tatham, who wrote:

"The network also seems bent on capitalizing on Florida subcultures. But instead of showcasing the state's diversity, their two Florida-set
series energize cheap stereotypes about the people who live here."

All that cheap content was a Saturday Night Live sketch waiting to happen, putting the  housemates in the eye of Hurricane Irma.

The sketch stars Irish-American actor and Lady Bird star Saoirse Ronan as "Christian sex addict" Trish. And really, is there an accent she can't do?

The parody also makes mention of Hulk Hogan (because Florida) as the housemates bunker down for a Hurricane Irma party.
