Bucs quarterback Jameis Winston was not hurt in a car wreck last week in which he was cited for careless driving.

Winston, 24, was driving on the Veterans Expressway near Waters Avenue in northwest Tampa on Feb. 13 when his Ford F250 truck rear-ended a Subaru Forester driven by Tyler Stepka of Lutz, a Florida Highway Patrol report said.

The crash damaged both vehicles — the citation listed $4,000 in total property damage, while the FHP crash report listed $2,000 in damages to each car. Neither driver nor the passengers in either car were hurt, the report said. Winston operated his vehicle "in (a) careless or negligent manner."

Winston was cited for careless driving and faces a $153 fine.
