CLEARWATER — The Clearwater Farmers Market has moved from its original Pierce Street location to its new home in the heart of downtown.
The market, run by Orlando-based Red Top Productions, now hosts its vendors in the 500 and 600 blocks of Cleveland Street. It is a year-round market held every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m with vendors ranging from fresh produce, artisan body care products, accessories, pet treats, baked goods and more.
A farmers market was launched on Pierce Street in 2015 by operator Natalie Nagengast, but the city put the contract out to bid last year and hired Red Top. Manager Dana Brown launched the market in November.
"We are excited about combining the market vendors and local merchants of the Cleveland Street District to provide a unique community gathering experience," she said in a statement.
