REO believes in Santa Claus
It's been more than two decades since they wowed us with Hi Infidelity, but REO Speedwagon isn't done giving back to its fans.
On its official website, the band has a Christmas message and a free download of their new single, "I Believe in Santa Claus." A free single -- that's a great idea for bands to hand out to fans. As for the song itself, Kevin Cronin's voice still sounds great after all these years. And if you're living near Agoura Hills, Calif., you can see REO play live on Dec. 30 and 31 at The Canyon Club.
And if you're looking for a cool gift for the REO fan in your life (or for your favorite podcaster), go old school and buy the Hi Infidelity t-shirt from the band's online store.
Some other cool 80s gift ideas:
- Electronic gift certificate for Cheap Trick's online store;
- Mousepads featuring U2 album covers;
- Nascar shirt from They Might Be Giants;
- 2007 Duran Duran calendar;
- Psycho Candy t-shirt from Jesus and Mary Chain;
- Special collector's DVD edition of Some Kind of Wonderful.
