Rush extends world tour

Rush

It's been so long since Rush started their "Snakes and Arrows" tour in Florida -- June 2007 -- that I forget they were still on the road. And they're not leaving anytime soon.

The Canadian prog-rockers just announced they'll extend their current tour and add another leg through the United States. The new run begins April 11 in Puerto Rico, heads back through Florida (no Tampa Bay stops this time), travels through the Midwest and ends in late July in North Carolina. (Click here to see exact dates.)

In addition, Rush plans a "Snakes and Arrows Live" CD for release in April.

According to the band's official website, the tour's new leg will visit some cities that the band hasn't played in quite some time. If you've never seen Rush live, read our "live blog review" of the show here in Tampa.
