Forever known as Flash Gordon's Day

Flashgordon Bad news, 80s troopers: For the next two days, I'm buried deep at work in training classes for "Flash," a web-related program that is roughly equivalent in difficulty to "Swahili for Beginners." So that means fewer blog updates during work hours for the next day or so.

For those who know Flash, you feel my pain. For those who don't, let's just say it's remarkably similar to 1980's "Flash Gordon" -- expensive, campy and ultimately can only be appreciated if you have a warped sense of humor.

So while I prepare my body for class old-school style with Jolt Cola and Pop Rocks, here's your obligatory top 5 list.

TOP 5 GOOFIEST LINES FROM FLASH GORDON:

5. "Bring me... the bore worms!"

4. "There's no sun! It's 8:24 in the morning, and there's no sun!"

3. "Onward my brave Hawkmen! Let this be known forever as Flash Gordon's Day!"

2. "I knew you were up to something, though I'll confess I hadn't thought of necrophilia."

1. "Long live Flash! You've saved your Earth. Have a nice day."
