Another big '80s birthday

Miguel_2 We could celebrate the 53rd birthday of Howie Mandel today. (Forget St. Elsewhere! Did you know he also provided the voice for "Gizmo" in 1984's Gremlins?) Or we could celebrate the upcoming 31st birthday of our favorite fan over across the pond -- Miguel Duarte.

Here's the e-mail from Miguel:

"Hey, Spears! My birthday is this Tuesday, December 2nd. I'll be 31 years old and looking good! It made me think about '80s birthday songs. I obviously remember 'Happy Birthday' by Altered Images but not too many more. Are there good birthday tunes out there from the '80s? Oh by the way you're invited to my birthday party this Tuesday. It's going to be really  ... lame! I'm working that day I believe."

Here you go, Miguel. A special birthday list for you.

TOP FIVE '80s-ISH BIRTHDAY SONGS:

5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY (New Kids on the Block): Listen

4. HAPPY BIRTHDAY (Stevie Wonder): Listen

3. TEARS AT THE BIRTHDAY PARTY (Elvis Costello): Live performance
