Bring on the dancing zombies
Life's still crazy here in Tampa Bay, site of Super Bowl XLIII (a.k.a. The Depression Bowl). So Vegas Girlfriend returns with this news update:
More news from the "We are officially out of new ideas for Broadway shows" department: Mega-Broadway company the Nederlander Organization has officially optioned the rights to turn the music video for Michael Jackson's song Thriller into a Broadway musical.
The show will feature songs from both Thriller and Off the Wall, and Jackson will be involved with "every aspect of the creative process."
This show is different from the show "Thriller Live," which also features Michael Jackson songs and is currently playing in London's West End. James Nederlander summed up the plot of the video: "Girl meets boy, they fall in love, boy has big secret. Now what."
Who knows? Maybe that red leather multizippered jacket you have in the basement will come back into vogue. (Addendum from Spearsy: "Don't count on it!")
