'Screaming Lord Byron' turns 62
Admit it ... you adored David Bowie's video for Blue Jean back in the '80s. Oh sure, it's not as popular as China Girl (overrated!) or as flashy as Modern Love (too predictable), but it has a certain undefinable appeal.
The video that originally aired on MTV is just a piece of the 21-minute film Jazzin' For Blue Jean, which was released in 1984 as a promotion for the song. These days, the best place to find it is on the Best of Bowie's DVDs, where it's reportedly hidden as an Easter egg.
Bowie/Byron turns 62 years old today. Our birthday wish? An interview on the Stuck in the '80s podcast and a new tour (check his website for any news) spotlighting his best work from the '70s and '80s, starting with these...
