Chiming in with the B-52s
The B-52s are the latest band to perform the "chimes" for NBC. Don't you just wanna give them all a big hug? (I've been walking up behind people at the office all day, and doing Fred Schneider's "yeah!!!" It's comic gold, but Human Resources doesn't agree.)
By the way, the B-52s just announced a summer tour, including a short gig here in Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field after the Tampa Bay Rays game on Aug. 15. The tour begins June 11 in Chattanooga, Tenn., and wraps up in late August in Green Bay. The band then heads to South America for a half dozen shows.
