Free passes to 'Adventureland'!
Want to see the movie Adventureland -- starring Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg -- for free? I have a handful of passes (good for admission for 2) to the new movie about the '80s. (View trailer here.)
A couple of stipulations. You've gotta live in Tampa Bay, because the passes are only good for a Regal or AMC theater in the Tampa area, according to the passes. (Please check your pass to see which chain accepts your particular pass.) And they can only be used Mondays through Thursdays. And it's rated R, so get a sitter if you have kids. Muchos gracias to Miramax Films for the giveaway.
If you want to hear more about it, check out our recent podcast on Great '80s Movies Made After the '80s. And by all means, if you like the movie, check out the killer soundtrack that comes with it.
In the meantime, to get those tickets, e-mail me at stuckinthe80s@tampabay.com. First come, first served until they're gone. Send your full name and mailing address. I'll let the winners know via e-mail.
[UPDATE: Passes are all gone now. The winners received e-mails already. Stay tuned for our next movie pass giveaway, hopefully coming in early May, for another '80s-themed movie.]
