Night Ranger rocks Taste of Pinellas next week
The bad news: Next Friday night will be either slog of a mudpit at St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park for Taste of Pinellas 2009 or an unbearable cauldron of heat. The good news: Night Ranger will be there to take away all your pain.
There's nothing like a big dose of Sister Christian to make everyone forget all their troubles. The boys take the stage in St. Petersburg about 8:30 that night after opening sets by The Greg Billings Band and the comeback girl of 2009, Lita Ford. Here's the full music schedule for the event, which benefits All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. But take my word for it: Friday is the can't-miss night for '80s fans.
Why? Have you forgotten the magnetism of frontman Jack Blades? The heart-thumping drumming of Kelly Keagy? The guitar wizardry of muscle-bound Brad Gillis? Relisten to our podcast interview with Blades, then consider today's top 5 list.
