Ready for a fifth Indiana Jones flick?
Shia LaBeouf, on the media circuit to promote Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is telling interviewers that another installment of the Indiana Jones saga is on the way.
"Steven (Spielberg) just said he cracked the story on it before I left, and I think they're gearing up for that," LaBeouf told the BBC.
Nevermind that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull just plain sucked rat eggs, the flick made more than $700 million at the box office. Hollywood just isn't going to ignore that important statistic. We presume that Harrison Ford has already given his thumbs-up on another film as well. (Personally, I'd prefer the return of Sean Connery this time.)
In a way, I welcome a fifth movie, but only because it gives Spielberg & Co. a chance to redeem themselves -- the same way that The Last Crusade erased the stench of Temple of Doom. Please just get it right this time ... and then call it quits.
TOP 5 SHORT BUT GREAT LINES FROM THE INDIANA JONES SAGA:
5. "He chose poorly. "
4. "He no nuts, he's crazy!"
3. "Nazis. I hate these guys."
2. "Ahh, Venice."
1. "Bad dates."
