Aussie earworm: Hunters & Collectors 'Throw Your Arms Around Me'

As Stuck in the '80s continues its search to find the best of Australia in the '80s, some really memorable tunes are popping into our playlists. Today's special find: Throw Your Arms Around Me by Hunters and Collectors.

The Aussie act was together from 1981 to 1998 and rotated a dozen members through its lineup over the years. And if this song in particular sounds familiar, that's because it has been covered by just about everyone, including Pearl Jam and Kiwi/Aussie conglomerate Crowded House.

On March 14, 2009, Hunters and Collectors reunited for a good cause -- Sound Relief, which raised funds for the Victorian Bushfire Crisis. Click here to see their live performance of When The River Runs Dry from that concert.

And of course, look for them on our upcoming Australia in the '80s podcast.
