The list of people participating in Tuesday's public memorial for Michael Jackson has been released.

According to TMZ, here it is: "Ron Boyd (family friend), Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Andrae Crouch Choir, Berry Gordy, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain's Got Talent), Magic Johnson, Martin Luther King III, Bernice A. King, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooke Shields, Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend), Usher and Stevie Wonder."

The other big news so far today: Jackson's longtime attorney and a family friend will be able to take over the pop singer's estate, a judge said Monday.

According to the AP: "Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff issued his ruling after a court hearing Monday morning. Attorney John Branca and music executive John McClain had been designated in Jackson's 2002 will as the people he wanted to administer his estate."

The singer's mother, Katherine Jackson, had previously sought to control the estate, but that was before his will surfaced. Her attorneys asked that she co-administer the state, but Beckloff did not grant that request.

Meanwhile, here are the other developments today ... so far:

Only 8,750 names were chosen this weekend from more than 1.6 million fans who registered online for free in the random drawing, according to the Associated Press. With each winner getting a pair of tickets to Tuesday's memorial, the odds of being chosen were about 1 in 183.

Sadly, Stuck in the '80s wasn't chosen as a ticket winner. But that doesn't mean I'd be against the idea of someone doing a good deed and selling me a ticket on the cheap. I'll spring for our meals and even introduce you to Valley Girl's Deborah Foreman. Any takers?

Please don't make me resort to eBay. They're asking up to $500 GRAND for tickets on the site. I'm not sure the compassionate folks at VISA would understand.

• TMZ.com says the lawyer for the doctor who was at Jackson's home the day he died says the doc did not give Jackson OxyContin or Demerol that day ... "but he wouldn't say the same about the powerful anesthesia found at the singer's home."
• Jackson's ex-wife Debbie Rowe had originally planned to attend the pop superstar's memorial service, but her representative said later that she would not be there because she would be an unnecessary distraction.
