ABCs' new 'V' series set for Nov. 3 debut

Hey "V" fans, good news: ABC has announced their "re-imagination" of our favorite sci-fi series of the '80s will debut on Nov. 3.

The new V tells the story of Earth's first encounter with "friendly" aliens -- hate to ruin the surprise, but they're not going to turn out friendly ... at least if the story falls the '80s plotline. (And if it doesn't, you-know-who is going to raise holy hell.)

Elizabeth Mitchell, Logan Huffman, Scott Wolf, Morena Baccarin, Joel Gretsch, Morris Chestnut, Lourdes Benedicto and Laura Vandervoort are all part of the cast.

Let's hope this revived series lasts longer than NBC's Knight Rider, which wasn't awful ... just unwatched.
