Biggest band in the world: Journey or ... Jonas Brothers?!?

Let's not pretend for two seconds that there's an acceptable answer to "Who is the biggest band in the world." But Soundcheck, our little bro of a music blog here at tampabay.com, is under attack by Journey fans ... and Jonas Brothers fans.

I can totally understand the passion of Journey fans. They're totally focused and passionate about the boys from the Bay Area. The only divisive issue to them is Steve Perry vs. Arnel Pineda.

But seriously, Jonas Brothers fans? Shouldn't they be playing with their Easy-Bake Ovens, skateboarding down to the cineplex to see G-Force and staying away from the evil Internet?

Currently, Journey is leading the online poll with 49 percent of the vote to Jo-Bros' 35 percent. But the real battle is being fought in the feedback area, where more than 100 comments have been logged.

Surf over there at your own risk, but there's some hilarious banter back and forth.
