NBC's 'Community' dedicates its pilot to the late John Hughes

Another week, another new TV show that basically plays off nostalgia for the '80s. This time it's NBC's Community, starring Chevy Chase and Joel McHale.

Did you miss the pilot? It's not bad. And it's available in its entirety up above via Hulu. Basically, it's a comic version of The Breakfast Club, but with people from different ages and backgrounds. They don't even try to hide the parallels, allowing characters to quote often from the 1985 flick.

And wait for the closing credits where you'll catch a quick dedication to the late John Hughes.

Will Community be as big of a hit as Fox's Glee, the other '80s-wannabe-nostalgia giant of the fall? My guess says no, but it's still definitely worth watching.
