Save Ferris Bueller's house (aka please lend me $2.3 million)
The home outside Chicago that served as the exterior of the Frye mansion in the 1986 movie is for sale. (That's not news. I wrote it up a while back.) But with the economy being what it is, and no '80s fan willing to lend me the $2.3 million so that I can save it, word has it that this historic property is now in danger of being bulldozed.
