I was a huge fan of the TV show, as was much of America in the late '70s and early '80s. With Fantasy Island airing afterward, that made Saturday night on ABC the original must-see TV night in broadcast history.

I still pretty much think "Julie McCoy" would be the perfect woman -- if she was just a little more dirty. These days, actress Lauren Tewes is 54 years old and still acting in regional theater out in Seattle. Twas not meant to be for us, I guess.
