Win free tickets to REO Speedwagon & Styx at the Ford Amphitheatre
Sing along with REO Speedwagon's Kevin Cronin: "And I can't fight these freebies anymore..." Just doesn't sound right, but it's good news nonetheless.
Good news for '80s fans around Tampa Bay: Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino along with the Eagle 107.3 FM are giving away free tickets to the Oct. 30 REO Speedwagon, Styx and Night Ranger concert at Tampa's Ford Amphitheatre. To win, just listen to the Eagle this week and wait for opportunities to call in.
(Or you can buy a pair of seats like I did and sit with me while I sing Time for Me To Fly at the top of my lungs with my very embarrassed date. It'll be a thing of beauty.)
Actually, Eagle winners get a whole "Classic Night Out," complete with concert tickets and Fresh Harvest dinner gift certificates from the Seminole Hard Rock. (So they really have the better deal, because if you hang out with me, I might spring for a hot dog after Sister Christian, but that's it.)
Speaking of Hard Rock, the hotel/casino adjacent to the Ford Amp is the official after-show party spot on Oct. 30. Concert-goers can bring their ticket stubs to the Player's Club and get a free poster (while supplies last.) No word on whether it's a poster of Cronin and the gang in all their 1980 Hi Infidelity permed-hair glory.
