'85 Bears remake Super Bowl Shuffle for Sunday's big game

Super bowl shuffle
Former Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon told sports talk radio host Jim Rome this week that a new version of the Super Bowl Shuffle is set to debut during one of the first commercial breaks of Sunday's Super Bowl.

It's been 25 years since the original Super Bowl Shuffle, which was recorded first as a song then as a video to benefit charity. It didn't hurt that the Bears were nearly invincible that season (losing only to the Miami Dolphins), so the odds of them backing up their boasting were pretty damn good. (Sorry, Patriots fans.)

The shuffle remake is actually an ad for Boost Mobile and includes McMahon (who told Rome he has had 19 surgeries over the years) riding in on a Rascal scooter. Other Bears in the ad: Mike Singletary, Richard Dent, Willie Gault, Otis Wilson, Steve Fuller and Maury Buford, according to Crain's Chicago Business. Former coach Mike Ditka even makes an appearance.

See a sneak preview of it at www.boostmobile.com/shuffle.
