Cheesiest '80s TV theme: Brian May, Eddie Van Halen's 'Star Fleet'
Here's a golden oldie that was just uncovered by the gurus at Crawdaddy.com: A 1983 TV theme song for a Japanese sci-fi show -- starring marionettes, naturally -- called Star Fleet.
The theme is allegedly performed by Queen's Brian May and Eddie Van Halen (and features a lot of other help from bands of the era, including REO Speedwagon).
I'm not going to lie to you: It's painful. Crawdaddy calls it "the warmest fart Styx never recorded."
