Clark and Ellen Griswold to star in Super Bowl ad

Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo will reprise their roles as Clark and Ellen Griswold from the National Lampoon's Vacation movies in a Super Bowl ad this Sunday.

The ad is for HomeAway.com, a vacation rental exchange agency. Cnet.com says the company is planning a whole "Griswold-themed microsite" with Chase and D'Angelo. Clark even has a Twitter account now.

Clark and Ellen are a hot commodity these days. A sequel to the Vacation movies, this time focusing on their grown son Rusty, is in the works. Word has it that Chevy and Beverly will reprise their roles for that as well.
