Gary Coleman pleads guilty in Utah court
Former '80s hero Gary Coleman pleaded guilty Monday to a misdemeanor criminal
mischief charge related to a domestic violence incident last April. Added bonus: The court appearance fell on his 42nd birthday.
Can I just say this with all due respect? It must suck to be Gary Coleman.
The original charge of domestic violence assault was dropped and no details of the April 18 incident were detailed in court documents, reports the Associated Press. His attorney would only say that Coleman and his wife Shannon Price had an argument which got out of hand.
Judge Sharla Williams sentenced our favorite '80s child star to 31 1/2 days in jail. The Diff'rent Strokes icon will serve the time only if he fails to complete a domestic violence course and pay a $595 fine.
