The Oscar hangover: What's next for Jeff Bridges?
Right about now, hundreds of people are waking up across Hollywood and wondering: What exactly happened last night after the 82nd Annual Academy Awards.
I hope Jeff Bridges, in particular, partied long and hard until the sun crept up high in the sky. He's long, LONG overdue for this recognition.
Of course, now comes the big question: How will his Oscar Award affect the expectations of his next film -- Tron: Legacy? What once seemed like an amusing side project to main-streamers in Hollywood (albeit "life and death" to '80s fans) now will gain a brighter spotlight. Will it be his Ishtar? Nah, I have faith.
Okay, instead of writing the top 5 list today, I'm opening it to anyone: Name Jeff Bridge's top movie of the '80s. I'm leaning toward The Fabulous Baker Boys or Starman. Am I wrong?
