Not TOO many '80s movie franchises found good fortune beyond the second or third sequel. (We're looking at you Freddie, Jason and Chucky!) So I'm a little skittish to see news today that a Die Hard 6 is still very much possible.
Bruce Willis, who's on the talk show circuit promoting the unfortunate reboot of the Death Wish franchise, confirmed to Jimmy Fallon this week that work has begun on a script.
"I'm about to wing out to California to start to see what the script looks like," Willis told the NBC host. "So I think so, yeah."
It's not yet known if the sixth movie will be a continuation of his John McClane character or a prequel of sorts that looks at the story's start.
Frankly, I'd rather see a prequel of the Hans Gruber character played by the late Alan Rickman. It's not Christmas until I see Hans Gruber fall off Nokotomi Plaza.
