Pet Sematary remake on the way

If there's anything Hollywood likes to remake as much as '80s movies, it's Stephen King '80s movies. So it's with zero surprise we learn that a remake of 1989's Pet Sematary is in the works.

Movieweb.com reports that actor Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Terminator Genisys) is in talks to star in the reboot. If it closes, Clarke will play Dr. Louis Creed, the main character originally portrayed by Dale Midkiff in the original.

The producers better lock down other details soon; Movieweb says Pet Sematary is expected to be released on April 19, 2019.
