The classic '80s TV series Alf is being considered as a reboot? Ha! I kill me.

TVline.com reports that Warner Bros. is in the "early stages" of developing a series based on Alf, which centered a fuzzy and sarcastic alien from the planet Melmac who is taken in by an all-American family when he crash-lands on Earth.

The original series aired on NBC from 1986 to 1990 and starred Max Wright, Anne Schedeen, Andrea Elson and Benji Gregory. The Alf puppet was performed by Paul Fusco, who was also one of the creators of the show. Spinoffs from the series included a cartoon show and comic book series.
