Before he was a Rembrandt, Danny Wilde painted this forgotten pop masterpiece
It's been over two years since we featured Danny Wilde on Lost and Found with my favorite song of his called Time Runs Wild. Wilde's catalog is more than just one song so we are overdue to get Wilde again this time with Body To Body.
Before Wilde cashed in with The Rembrandts in the '90s, he had a relevant solo career in the '80s. His first album, The Girlfriend, got some play with the singles Isn't It Enough and Body To Body. While Body To Body did not chart, it's great guitar pop with a delightful sing-a-long chorus. While Wilde produced great records, his videos were always the same with performance mixed in with scenes of Wilde and his favorite hobby of riding motorcycles.
Today Wilde can afford all the Harleys he wants as the co-author of I'll Be There For You, better known as the theme song for Friends, probably delivers plenty of mail box money each month.
