Bryan Adams releases new album, 2016 North American tour dates

Well, hello there, Bryan Adams. What are you up to these days? A new album and a North American tour, reports. And why not? Adams is still a spry 55 years old, which makes him practically a babe in terms of '80s artists.

Whoops, didn't mean to say '80s. I know how his handlers hate having him associated with such a dreaded decade. After all, Bryan Adams only had 13 Top 100 hits in the United States during the '80s, including his first chart-topper, Heaven, in 1985.

So back to the future (sorry). Bryan Adams' new album is called Get Up. It's already been released in his native Canada, and it's due for an Oct. 30 release in the States. The record (I'm old school) will have nine new songs and four acoustic renditions, says Pollstar. Get a load of the first single, aptly titled Brand New Day, here.

Ah, lovely. And now feast your eyes on the tour dates. Tickets for most shows go on sale Friday, Oct. 30. Sorry, only one Florida date and it's down in Miami. No bueno.
