Charles Napier wasn't always the villain. But the veteran character of so many '80s movies should have been. But now, it's tire to retire to black hat for good. Napier died Wednesday, Oct. 5, at age 75.

Eighties fans probably know him best as Tucker McElroy of the Good Ole Boys in 1980's Blues Brothers. Or as Murdock in 1985's Rambo: First Blood Part II. All told, he appeared in more than 30 movies and TV shows in the '80s. Amazing. Anything from Married to the Mob to the TV version of Private Benjamin.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Napier collapsed in his California home on Tuesday and was rushed to a hospital. He was taken off life support on Wednesday. The cause of death isn't yet know, but he had previously suffered blood clots in his legs.
