'80s party suite opens after epic first day in Vegas
Lost '80s Weekend here in Las Vegas is about 12 hours old, and the fun is just starting. We just finished an epic mean at RM Seafood, and chef/culinary god Rick Moonen visited our table to chat for a while. Don't worry, we started by telling him: 1) That he was robbed on Top Chef Masters, and 2) the St. Pete Times dining critic recommended his place.
"What's his name?" Moonen asked us.
"Jim Webster!" we told him.
"Ah, Jim Webster. Tell him thanks. I'lll remember that name."
Moonen knew all about the Lost '80s concert and was impressed we had all gathered from around the county for the event. Brad in LA, Mike in Austin, the girls from Sparks, NV, and Tor Hansen are in town. We're waiting for the arrival of the gang before recording our first podcast. Look for it later tonight.
In the meantime, enjoy this photo of Sean, Spearsy and Bad Andy posing in front of the Seafood Tower appetizer, featuring lobster, crab, shrimp, oysters, clams and god knows what else. Price? If you have to ask, you can't afford it. We couldn't afford it either, but that's a problem for our credit card company.
