Six months before the world gets to see Tron Legacy, word comes that Disney is already working on its sequel. That tells us two things:

• The good news: The sequel, which brings back Oscar winner Jeff Bridges as computer programming pro "Flynn," really is THAT good.
• The bad news: Expect an ending to Tron Legacy that doesn't wrap everything up when it hits theaters in December. So frustrating!

Ah, that's okay. It'd be nice to have a string of GOOD sequels for a change.

The Hollywood Reporter says Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the Lost team who worked on Tron Legacy, have already begun writing its sequel. It could be part of a trilogy of movies, though it wasn't known if the original movie would count as the first in the series.
