Anthony Michael Hall arrested for disturbing peace
Anthony Michael Hall has been charged with disturbing the peace after challenging a neighbor at his L.A. condo building to a fight, People magazine reports. Farmer Ted? In a fight?
"I feel compelled to mention to you, Jake, that if all you want of the girl is a piece of a--, I mean, I'll either do it myself, or get someone bigger than me to kick your a--." Yeah, it didn't sound any more convincing in Sixteen Candles.
Actually, the 43-year-old has bulked up a lot since his John Hughes days. Ever see him all ripped in Johnny Be Good?
"The neighbor told officers from the LAPD Pacific Division that Hall tore up plants in a common area of their condominium, according to law enforcement sources," the LA Times says. "The neighbor heard the noise, came out of his unit and asked Hall what he was doing, the sources said. Hall allegedly responded with an obscenity and threatened to 'beat him to a pulp.' "
Hall was released early Tuesday morning.
