Beetlejuice 2? Winona Ryder isn't ready to say the 'B' word again
Tim Burton's planned sequel to Beetlejuice may have Michael Keaton on board. But co-star Winona Ryder sounds a little more lifeless about the project.
Taking questions from the press during a Frankenweenie publicity stop, Ryder was asked if she was excited about Beetlejuice 2 and might consider reprising her role as Lydia, Flixist.com reports.
"Her response was a heavy sigh, a roll of the eyes, and a 'Yeah, that would be...great.'"
Wow. Really, Winona? Maybe you're prefer your role back in a sequel to 2002's Mr. Deeds instead?
Burton also was asked about the project and had a rambling answer of his own: "Somebody's writing a version, but I'm sort of...not making any preconceived ideas about it, and...not over-thinking something that I haven't seen, so I'm just kind of keeping an open mind about it and seeing what comes."
