Bret Michaels' recovery from a brain hemorrhage that struck him down last week is going so much better than expected that his concert tour could resume in late May, CNN quotes his road manager as saying.

So earlier this week he's on death's door and now he's ready to belt out Every Rose Has its Thorn?

"I know that everyone is waiting for some OFFICIAL news, however we just cant give any right now," Janna Elias said on Bret's official website. "I want to clarify that the media has been interviewing numerous people over the last few days. None and I reiterate, none, of the people that have been interviewed are authorized representatives nor do they have the right to speak on Bret's behalf."
