Bret Michaels still in critical condition after brain hemorrhage
Former Poison frontman Bret Michaels remains hospitalized under "intense observation" and further testing following his brain hemorrhage, People magazine reports today.
"There are several incorrect reports on Bret's condition," his spokesman told the magazine. "Bret remains in critical condition at an undisclosed location. Further tests are being ran and information will be updated in the coming days."
Michaels was rushed to an undisclosed hospital late Thursday night after suffering a massive brain hemorrhage. He was in the process of recovering from an emergency appendectomy he underwent on April 12. He's also diabetic, which has hampered his recovery.
"I’m out of the post-op stuff, but I’m not officially out-out," Michaels wrote on his blog earlier this week. "They will release me, though. I have to get my blood sugar back in order because it’s been all over the place because every day I’ve been real active and you’re not supposed to move around yet."
