Darth Vader could return from grave in Star Wars sequel (and the Ewok song is deciphered)
Normally it's hard to put much credibility into Hollywood rumors, but heck, gossip is what powers that town. So I'm tempted to believe the talk is real that Disney may bring back Darth Vader from the dead for Star Wars Episode 7.
"This is to be taken with an ocean’s worth of salt, as it comes from the British tabloid Express. According to a 'film mole,' Vader is just too important not to be part of the plan," reports Geeksofdoom.com.
According to the website, the source says: "He’s an integral part of the franchise. Replacing him is virtually impossible. The plan is for him to return and play a significant role in the new films."
Well, hell, if they can bring back Obi Wan in ghost form, I see no harm in bringing back Vader. How about an even swap: Vader returns, all Ewoks disappear ... for good.
Speaking of which, I never knew someone took the time to decipher the lyrics of the Ewoks' victory song, but here they are: "Yub nub eee chop yub nub ah toe meet toe pee-chee keene g'noop dock fling oh ah. Yah wah eee chop yah wah ah toe meet toe pee-chee keene g'noop dock."
... By the way, if you're a true Vader fan, you'll love this story: A Navy Reservist returning home from training surprised his son by dressing up as Darth Vader.
