David Byrne concert flick, a PIL tour and the end of Rick-Rolling on YouTube

Stopmaking ... David Byrne to release new concert film. Can it top Stop Making Sense? That flick was once in a lifetime.

... Nevermind Coachella. Public Imaged Limited to tour North America after that festival show.

... Our lips are sealed no longer. Go-Go's, ZZ Top and Hall & Oates among the '80s acts to play free concerts after Tampa Bay Rays games this summer.

... Joan Jett sees her bio-pic The Runaways: "It's not painful for me to watch, so I think that's a good sign."

... Never gonna give Rick Astley up? Think again. YouTube drops the Rick-Rolling video.

TODAY'S FAN BLAST is from ... "Just Drew" in Simi Valley: "After listening to the recent batch of podcasts, I was compelled to write in because they have just been fantastic. I started on podcast 36, went back to the earlier ones and have been listening ever since. Having graduated high school in 1986 (the year Spearsy turned 35, right?), listening to the topics you cover always brings me back to fun times: Watching music videos on MTV, going to all of Oingo Boingo's "Dia De Los Muertos" concerts, even wearing my hair like Billy Idol. It's is great to know that even on the other side of the country there were shared experiences from that decade."

Ah yes, Oingo Boingo. I never caught their "Day of the Dead" shows out in California. But here's Not My Slave from their 1990 Halloween show.
