'Family Ties' actor lands in Colorado jail for assault
Family Ties is sure getting a lot of ink lately. Last week, Meredith Baxter came out of the closet to confirm she's a lesbian. And now, Brian Bonsall, who played Michael J. Fox's little brother Andy Keaton, is in trouble for assault.
Colorado police say 28-year-old Bonsall got into a fight at an apartment over the weekend and hit a friend with part of a broken wooden stool, the AP reports.
The former child actor told cops he had been drinking and didn't recall what happened.(Sleepy, sleepy, right?) He's being held in a Boulder County jail until a court appearance Wednesday.Personally, I stopped watching Family Ties long before "Andy Keaton" showed up. And it seems Bonsall's career peaked right there. IMDB.com shows that he hasn't done any acting since 1994.
