The force is strong with this Blu-ray set ... but I'm not going to buy it yet

Star Wars The Complete SagaThe entire Star Wars "saga" -- all six films -- is set for a Sept. 16 release on Blu-ray. And, of course, it's soooo tempting to consider pre-purchasing it now on for a mere $89.99. But as always, it boils down to the special features. Are they worth re-purchasing movies most of us already own (when we're not watching Star Wars marathons on cable TV)?

It'd take more than a short blog item to list all the special features in Star Wars: The Complete Saga, so watch the video below for a taste of what you'll see. Otherwise, expect plenty of audio commentaries from George Lucas (and Carrier Fisher for her three movies); a feature-length documentary; never-before-seen footage; and a playable XBox demo of the new Lucasarts game Star Wars Battlefront.

I don't own any of the Star Wars movies on DVD, so this is tempting. But I'll wait for the official reviews first. Unless Lucas wants to float me a promo copy. (Need an addy, George?)

As for Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, well, you can always sell them on Craigslist.
