Friday earworm: 'Just Another Day' by Oingo Boingo
Forget what the Cure, debt-ceiling doomsayers and Rebecca Black said about Friday. To me and the boys from Oingo Boingo, it's just another day.
Just Another Day is from Oingo Boingo's 1985 album Dead Man's Party, which became their first bit hit thanks to several of the songs appearing in movie soundtracks. (Weird Science, obviously, in John Hughes' Weird Science. But also Dead Man's Party -- the song -- appears in Back to School, when the band is hired to play a party in the dorm room of Thornton Melon.) Sadly, I can't think of any movie that uses Just Another Day (but I'm fairly sure it's been somewhere before).
Of course, the album's cult fave tune, No One Live Forever, has a couple creepy movie appearances too. Can anyone name them?
