Ghostbusters 3 has production start date, but no Bill Murray
Can there really be a Ghostbusters 3 without Dr. Peter Venkman? Well, let's slow down. Can there really even be a Ghostbusters 3? The movie sequel has floated about Hollywood like a sickly spectre for two decades finally a start production date for summer 2013, says Comingsoon.net. But the movie will have to be make without Bill Murray, who continues to deny an interest in returning to the franchise.
Dan Aykroyd, who seems determined to live or die by the accomplishment of one more Ghostbusters flick, has hinted a little more about the plot, too:
"My character, Ray, is now blind in one eye and can't drive the cadillac," he said, "He's got a bad knee and can't carry the packs... Egon is too large to get into the harness. We need young blood and that's the promise. We're gonna hand it to a new generation."
Comingsoon.net says a 2013 production start makes a lot of sense; that would give Ghostbusters 3 a 2014 release date -- yes, the 30th anniversary of the original movie. Mother puss-bucket!
