Diandra_Douglas.JPGThe ex-wife of actor Michael Douglas wants 50 percent in advance of his take from Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the New York Post reports. Well, what's worth doing is worth doing for money. Diandra Douglas knows her '80s films!

The 52-year-old, who divorced Douglas in 2000, filed suit earlier this month in New York, claiming she's entitled to half of the up-front money and royalties from the sequel to 1987's Wall Street, which doesn't even hit movie theaters until this fall. (Their divorce ended with a reported $45 million payoff.)

According to the Post, Diandra's legal team is arguing that their divorce deal says she's to get half of any money from any movies he did during their 20-plus years of marriage, including any spinoffs. The question facing the court: Is a sequel a spinoff? (The next question: Will all this be a moot point if it bombs at the box office anyway?)
