Guns N' Roses announces U.S. tour dates ... in tiny little venues

axl.jpgGuns N' Roses has announced dates for a 6-stop U.S. tour. And by Guns N' Roses, I mean Axl Rose and whatever musicians he could find who are still willing work with him. says the tour will only feature "intimate venues," beginning Feb. 10 in New York at the Roseland Ballroom. Will a larger tour follow? It's up to Axl, so it's anybody's guess.

One special feature of the Feb. 15 stop at Webster Hall: The venue used to be The Ritz and was the site of the band's 1998 concert film Live at the Ritz. For this particular show, the band says they'll "celebrate their return by reclaiming the venue as The Ritz with signage and the name appearing on the marquee."

Guns N' Roses tour dates, according to their website:

  • 2/10 - New York, NY @ Roseland Ballroom
  • 2/12 - New York, NY @ Terminal 6
  • 2/15 - New York, NY @ The Ritz (Webster Hall)
  • 2/19 - Chicago, IL @ House of Blue
  • 2/23 - Silver Spring, MD @ The Fillmore
  • 2/24 - Atlantic City, NJ @ House of Blues
