Hello, McFly? ... The Flux Capacitor never lies

So, about that rumor that July 5, 2010, was the destination in time during Back to the Future. Well, those rumors are wrong.

Behold video showing all the "time circuit" scenes for the Flux Capacitor. ("It's what makes time travel possible.") Doc Brown actually goes forward in time to Oct. 21, 2015 as the video will show. Don't worry, hopefully we'll still be doing Stuck in the '80s then and we can relive all the exciting drama again.

I'm not sure how it all got started, but for the last week blogs and Facebook posts have been pointing out -- incorrectly -- that the date Doc Brown traveled to in the future was in fact upon us: July 5, 2010. My work e-mail was full of letters from readers asking about it. Turns out it was just a photo-edited version of the Flux Capacitor. Not that it's any HUGE deal anyway. But it's always nice to debunk some Internet silliness.
