Hey doctors, lay your hands on Bon Jovi's busted leg
Pardon me in advance for this: It'll take more than some Bad Medicine or Livin' on a Prayer for hirsute Jon Bon Jovi to recover from a torn calf muscle he suffered during the end of a concert last week.
Bon Jovi hurt the left toward the end of Friday's concert at the New Meadowlands Stadium in East Rutherford. He still managed to limp around and finish the encores, the AP reports.
"My calf muscle just blew out! Whoa!," he said from the stage. "I got another leg. I don't need this one. Don't you worry, folks. I ain't got nowhere to go. I'm old. What can I tell you? But I'm still good-lookin'!"
Yeesh. Give it a break, Jon. Maybe you would worry more about writing good music than touting your good looks.
A spokesman for the band says they don't expect any tour dates to be canceled or rescheduled.
